Your support enables us to match more students with dedicated mentors who guide, encourage, and open doors to opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach. These 1:1 relationships have an incredible impact—research shows that students with mentors are more likely to graduate, succeed academically, and feel prepared for the future. The impact of a NSU mentor can be life-altering, as shared by one NSU alumnus:
I've been able to have someone who understands the struggles of the education system, and is able to guide me through a lot of it...It's nice to have someone who's got my back and will stand beside me, whatever it might be that I'm facing.

Donate​
NSU mentees thrive thanks to the generosity of private donors and corporate sponsors. Whether large or small, your support helps fund mentor stipends, grants, and scholarships that provide our students with the programs and resources they need to succeed.

$50 – Access Grant
Your donation covers the cost of essential items like a driving permit test, sports equipment, or other resources that are out of reach for our mentees. This small but significant gift opens doors for students to access opportunities.
$100 – Mentee Breakfast
A donation of $100 provides a nourishing bagel breakfast for mentees to gather with each other and their mentors. These gatherings foster connections, inspire conversation, and strengthen the mentor-mentee relationship, creating a space for growth and guidance.

$250 – Graduation Scholarship
Your gift of $250 provides a scholarship to a graduating mentee, helping them transition into the next phase of their life with confidence and support. This scholarship helps cover costs related to further education, career opportunities, or other needs.

$500 – Exploration Grant
With $500, you provide an Exploration Grant for one mentee, enabling them to explore new opportunities—whether it's attending a leadership camp, taking a course, or pursuing an enriching extracurricular activity. This grant expands their horizons and nurtures their potential.

$1350 – Year-Long Mentorship
With $1350, you fund a full year of mentorship for one mentee. This includes regular meetings, guidance, and support from a dedicated mentor, helping them build confidence, make informed decisions, and achieve their goals.

Corporate Partners
NSU students often contend with insurmountable challenges that can make accessing the full Needham High School experience difficult, including graduating on time, going to college or pursuing other post-secondary opportunities. Through a dedicated 1:1 mentor relationship for all four years of high school, social-emotional learning, self-advocacy skill development, college application support, and more, NSU helps students realize a new narrative today and in the future.
